...that's what I wish I had--'a little behind' (tee hee)!!! Well, I'm sure workin' on it, anyway :)
OK--the last few days have been relatively 'mo' betta' with regard to my hip. I gotta tell ya that moving makes all the difference in the world. If I didn't move, I would absolutely freeze up--not being able to move at all!!!
Now then--recapping the last couple of days...it was back to work on Tuesday (Inauguration Day). Beautiful day, as I walked by the bay at noon. I just love my MP3 player. Over the weekend, I uploaded a ton more songs before my 14-day Napster trial period was to expire. Music is a big part of my life and walking to music with a great beat, really ramps things up.
Tuesday evening, I swam 35 laps (or 70 lengths)--the new swimmers' mile, at my 'local watering hole'. I think traditionally, 'watering hole' means local bar. As that definition does not apply to me, I'll refer to my 24-hour fitness pool as my 'local watering hole'. Weight wise--I seem to be holding steady at 144. Since I'm working my "!#$%^$#$#" off, and eating healthy, lo-cal meals, all I can figure is that I'm building muscle--which of course weighs more. I feel great, though, and getting more toned all the time.
I did the gym on Wednesday morning, as usual, and walked at noon time. I am so grateful for the wonderful weather we have here in San Diego that allows for outside activities. I hope to do a little bike riding on the weekend. Rain is in the forecast, so we'll see how that goes.
