Happy Rainy Saturday!

After working around the house on this soupy San Diego Saturday (hmmm), I pulled it together and went to the gym to swim (hey, I told you I was a PT poet!). I did 70 lengths (or 35 laps), which is slightly over 1 mile. It felt great--so invigorating. I highly recommend this form of exercise. It's quite addictive and really builds endurance and increases lung capacity. I have never swam like this before in my life. Lolly came with me, working out on the elliptical for an hour. She has a fitness blog as well. In fact, she set the tone for me to start my own blog. Thanks Lol!!! I came home and fixed myself a big salad with one warm flour totorilla and a fruit smoothie (this is one of my pretty "usual and customary" dinners. Peace--out.
