Gymming it Up!!!

This morning, January 2nd, being a day off for me, I got up at 7:30 am and headed for the gym to do my regular workout. I generally go every Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. When I work, I get up at 4:00 am, making it to the gym by 4:30. I work out for an hour and 15 minutes, shower, dress and head for the trolley which gets me to work by 7:30 am. I like the trolley, because I can either read or snooze (which is nice, since I'm up so early). Today was nice because I invited my daughter, Lolly, to go with me. They have a "Kid's Club" at the gym and she brought Marli with her. Marli wore her Nike workout onesie, to show her commitment to fitness as well.

I had a Detour protein bar before I went to the gym, just to have something in my tummy--then when I got home, I had my traditional non-fat yogurt with granola and a cup o' sugar-free hot chocolate. This is my normal breakfast. To some, it may seem boring, but it fills me up and works for me. I won't weigh myself until Monday, January 5th. I generally weigh myself only once a week--and on the same scale. I believe that's the best way to see true results.
