First Monday of 2009!

Was 'up and at 'em' this morning at 4:00 am, and to the gym by 4:30. I was excited to listen to my new MP3 player (that Lolly gave me for Christmas) during my workout. It's great and really makes the time go by fast! Note: I have arthritis in my left hip and it can really give me grief from time-to-time. Today is one of my bad days. :( I generally work through the pain, and plan on doing my noon-time walk by the bay. I am wearing boots with a 2.5 inch heel. That may be contributing to my hip hurting, but I'm a die hard and really want to wear my boots! Perhaps changing into my tennies for my walk will make a difference. We'll see.

Back from my 45-minute noon-time walk. All good. My hip is feeling better and I'm energized! Enough exercise for one day.

  1. Nope, not enough exercise for one day!! Yes, there was more. This is Esther, the Sis. I met Mary at 24 hour fitness and away we swam. Lap after lap, stroke after stroke...our goal....One mile. 66 laps in a 24 yard swimming pool equals one mile. We did it! It takes me a lot longer to reach the mile than it does Mary, but heh!!! She's been working out longer that her 60 year old Sis. Had a great time and feel terrific. Love you Sis. Night, Night. S
