Happy MLK Jr. Day!!!

It's soooo nice to have today off from work. I celebrated MLK Jr. day by, guess what??? Yes--going to the gym--but I didn't have to get up so bloomin' early, which is a good thing--yes! I had a good workout and feel purdy darned good. I hope I stay healthy. One has to be careful going to the gym, washing hands frequently, etc. This is the flu season and germs can transfer quite easily. I need to be diligent and try to stay healthy. I hope my readers are staying healthy as well!!!

Hey--I thought I'd post some good information on swimming stats. Esther did some research. Thanks Sis!

How many laps for a mile?
Lap = down and back
Swimmers mile = 1500 meters
15 laps in the 50 meter lanes
30 laps in the 25 meter lanes
33 laps in the 25 yard lanes

Actually there is 1760 yards in a mile which then calculates to 70 laps.
